Firstly, hadn't ever heard of Vanna but i was told sounded like recent SKSK so i thought i would give it a whirl. In that it's outrageously catchy i would concur, but beyond that i would disagree. In my opinion this record has a totally different vibe, and this band has a very distinct sound all their own. At first listen their more a cross between all that's great about Underøath's vocals, SevenStoryFall's drums, and SKSK dueling guitars. For all the Silverstein fans who were disappointed with A Ship Wreck in the Sand download this shit.
sounds like: Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Underøath, Seven Story Fall, A Static Lullaby
Bam!

ReplyDeleteTime to check out their catalog.
