I know i've been blowing this band up lately but it's not my fault their so fucking great. Let me preface this post by saying i love the way Kidcrash sounds now, but i think i'm getting a real soft spot for this record. If you just heard this record, and nothing else by them, you'd have no idea they had the heavy riffs and wild build ups of Jokes in them. New Ruins is like Kidcrash's punk, crooning, light guitar lined, younger brother. For all the people who look at this page and are on my ass about not posting enough punk rock, just take a second out of your busy day and listen to this album. I think you'll find yourself pleasantly surprised, despite its screamo tag. Maybe all the emotion felt from this record comes from all the effort and hard earned dollars the band put into it themselves. So if you like it, once again don't buy the digital version from an online vendor, support the band by buying merch/vinyl here. Love these guys, check it out.
