sound: Hardcore/Screamo
myspace
This record is at times the chillest Screamo, Post-Hardcore, Post-DC-era-Punk: what ever tag you want to give it. Sometimes its moody and feels like you're sitting in on a private jam session with the band, which i thoroughly enjoyed. Other times it chaotic and pulse pounding like being shoved around at the front of the crowd at one of their shows, which i also got a kick out of. Every track is it's own little story, climactic and singular. Yet some how they manage to hold all five songs together through the melodic, at time mostly instrumental feel of this album. Storming the Bastille is by far my favorite song on this record. Check 'em out.
