This Town Needs Guns is a band I've had rolling around in my Itunes for the better part of a year, and i always meant to get around to them. Their record Animals I've always enjoyed for the time i was listening to it, but then i would listen to another band and completely forget about this. Nothing on the album ever stood out to me, and hung around in my head. That being said I'm still going to recommend it because i truly believe they are a talented band, and this record is really bohemian and entertaining.Animals [2008] = vbr.
Now the split they did with Cats and Cats is where this band shines. I love the song If I Sit Still Maybe I'll Get Out of Here, and Is Dancier Than 4. Besides it's always cool to see bands come together and play off of each other, this split is no exception. This needs to get pressed on vinyl ASAP. Check'em out.
